A warm welcome to

Falconer's Hill Infant School

Executive Headteacher's Welcome

At Falconer’s Hill Infant school, everything we do has the children at the heart of it. Our passionate teaching team works hard to provide the children of Falconer’s Hill Infant school with an education of the highest quality.

As a head teacher I have always been principled about learning. I am a learner. I love to learn, and I am delighted to lead a school and staff team which is happy to explore new ideas and to continually develop our practice.

The children and the families are the heart of FHIS and I believe they should all have the best opportunities to reach their full potential. I have a real love for learning and want to ensure we are providing creative and irresistible experiences across each and every day. Together, home and school can create a strong partnership which can engender and nurture that essential aspect of children’s education, a love for learning, which is why we actively encourage your involvement.

Do come and see what Falconer’s Hill Infant School has to offer your child. We can guarantee you a very warm welcome.

Wraparound Care

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for your patience while we have been establishing our wraparound care provision.

I am delighted to share that from Summer Term 2 (following the May half term), wraparound care will be available at FHIS until 6:00pm. This provision will be delivered by S4A, who have extensive experience in offering high-quality wraparound care at a number of local schools.

Both Miss Giles and I have visited settings where S4A currently operates and were very impressed with their values, inclusive practices, and the wide range of activities available. We are therefore pleased to be welcoming them to FHIS.

Further information will be shared with you in the coming weeks.
Kind regards,

Mrs Edkins & Miss Giles
