π¬ Science Week 2026 π¬
This week was Science Week, and the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a wide range of exciting experiments and activities. Each class focused on working scientifically by making predictions, carrying out investigations, and recording their results.
A few favourites included exploring our Curiosity Box, where the children used only their sense of touch to guess what was hidden inside. This activity encouraged careful observing, questioning, and lots of thoughtful predictions. Another highlight was the Mentos experiment, which sparked excitement and amazement as the children watched the fizzy reaction! π¬π₯
We were also delighted to welcome Mr Evans from DSLV, who visited us to lead a range of fascinating science demonstrations during our Science Week assembly. His experiments created a real sense of awe and wonder and helped to spark even more curiosity among the children.
We would like to thank Mr Evans for taking the time to visit us and for inspiring our young scientists.
Wishing you all a wiondeful weekend.
