How to apply

West Northamptonshire Council is responsible for coordinating the application process for entry into Reception as well as in-year transfers for pupils in Year R to Year 2. If you live in West Northamptonshire, your application is therefore made to WNC rather than the local authority where the preferred school is situated. If you live outside West Northamptonshire and want to apply for a place at FHIS at the normal point of entry, you need to apply through admissions at your local authority.

The application process opened on 8 September 2023. To apply, please visit: School Admissions | West Northamptonshire Council (

Key dates
