💛 Welcome Back from the Safeguarding Team 💛
A very warm welcome back to all of our children and families for the new school year!
At Falconer’s Hill Infant School, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Everything we do is centred around our school promise that every child should feel happy, safe and loved.
We want every child to feel secure, listened to and cared for, knowing that there are trusted adults in school who they can talk to if something is worrying them.
🌟 Who can I talk to if I have a concern?
If you have a worry about your child, another child, or something that you feel may affect a child’s safety or wellbeing, please speak to us. You do not need to be certain that something is wrong — if you are worried, we would always rather you share your concern.
You can:
📱 Send us a message on Seesaw
👋 Speak to a member of our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) team
🏫 Contact the school office
💬 Speak directly to Miss Giles, our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
You can also speak to any member of staff you feel comfortable talking to, and they will make sure your concern reaches the right person.
Our safeguarding team is here to listen, support and help. You are never a bother, and there is no such thing as a silly worry when it comes to keeping children safe.
❤️ Our promise
At FHIS, we want every child to know:
“I am happy. I am safe. I am loved.”
Thank you to all of our families for working with us to keep our children safe, supported and thriving.
