โœจHead of School Review of the Week โœจ

As we come to the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to thank everyone for their hard work, commitment and enthusiasm throughout the year.

This final week has been filled with festive joy and memorable experiences for our pupils. We enjoyed a lovely visit to the local church, where the children took part in a Christingle service. It was a special opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and to celebrate together as a school community.

Adding to the festive celebrations, the whole school enjoyed a trip to the cinema to watch The Muppets Christmas Carol. The children were impeccably behaved and thoroughly enjoyed sharing laughter and Christmas spirit together โ€“ a wonderful way to end the term.

These experiences, along with the many Christmas activities taking place in school, have helped create a warm and joyful atmosphere as we prepare for the holidays.

A huge thank you to all our parent and carer volunteers this week for attending and supporting on our Christingle service and cinema trip. Without your support, these trips would not be possible.

I would like to wish all our pupils, families and staff a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday 6th January 2026 refreshed and ready for the new term ahead.

Attendance Matters

Attendance is a priority concern as part of our commitment to safeguarding every child. We believe that children can only reach their full potential through regular, full-time education.

๐ŸŽฏOur Attendance Target

At Falconer's Hill Infant School, we aim for all pupils to achieve at least 96% attendance.

โœ…  Why 96%?
Pupils with 96% or higher attendance gain a significant advantage โ€” thatโ€™s at least 62 more hours of learning compared to a child with just 90% attendance.

Letโ€™s work together to support our childrenโ€™s education and make every school day count!

This Week's Attendance

Hereโ€™s how each class did this week with their attendance:

๐ŸŒฐ Chestnut โ€“ 90%
๐Ÿ Sycamore โ€“ 89%

๐Ÿ‚ Maple โ€“ 86%
๐ŸŒณ Oak โ€“  95%

๐Ÿฅ‡ Congratulations to WILLOW Class for achieving 96% attendance this week! Youโ€™ve earned the Attendance Cup! Well done!

Let's keep up the great attendance at our school โ€” every day counts!
